About this game
2048 is the elegant merging puzzle that quietly took over the internet and never really left. The rules fit on a sticky note: every swipe slides all the tiles on a 4 by 4 board in one direction, two tiles of the same number that bump into each other fuse into their sum, and after every move a new 2 or 4 appears on a random empty square. From there, the game becomes a quiet wrestling match with your own positioning instincts. This lithappy build adds a one-step Undo so an unlucky tap doesn't wipe out twenty minutes of careful planning, plus a soft candy palette that's easy on tired eyes. Your highest score is saved locally so each session continues your personal climb toward that satisfying pink 2048 tile.
Tips & tricks
- Pick a corner - usually bottom right - and commit to keeping your largest tile parked there.
- Build a monotonic chain (e.g. 256, 128, 64, 32) along one edge so merges cascade in order.
- Avoid up-swipes once your big tile lives at the bottom; one stray move can ruin the whole structure.
- Use Undo sparingly - the muscle memory you build from real mistakes is what gets you past 1024.
- When the board feels stuck, slow down and count: which two tiles are one swipe away from merging?
